WHEN THE LORD TURNED THE CAPTIVITY OF ZION

WHEN THE LORD TURNED THE CAPTIVITY OF ZION

“When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream. Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing…The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south…” Psalms 126:1-4

Outside the confine of Zion, we were slaves to the elements of the world and the ruler of the dark world called Satan. We were brought out of the prison, trouble and woe by marked deliverances so that sorrow can give room to joy and goodness of the Lord that seems too good and great to be true. The greatness of the deliverance matched the greatness of the captivity; Liberty and jubilee replaced Captivity and multitude of grave and painful life experiences. It takes the release of the burden removing and yoke destroying power of God contained in the anointing to effect this change and turn around our captivity.

“The Sovereign LORD has filled me with his Spirit. He has chosen me and sent me to bring good news to the poor, to heal the broken-hearted, to announce release to captives and freedom to those in prison. He has sent me to proclaim that the time has come When the LORD will save his people and defeat their enemies. He has sent me to comfort all who mourn, to give to those who mourn in Zion Joy and gladness instead of grief. A song of praise instead of sorrow. They will be like trees that the LORD himself has planted. They will all do what is right, And God will be praised for what he has done” Isa 61:1-3 GNB

We must have clear cut understanding that this is the work of the Lord, least any man boast. God has released authority, power, dominion and ability to rule and reign to the believers in this latter days so that God can effect a change in a jiffy hereby setting the captives free and releasing the bondages of my people.

The scenario is so gladdening and quick change that the goodness and mercy of the Lord looks as a dream; the great grace and favor of the Lord appeared so great and very favorable. There is great release of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit that it is likened to the torrent streams of the south flowing down with rapidity from the mountain peaks.

The first thing we do in spring time is to begin a spiritual purging and cleansing with the refiners fire and the fullers soap [Malachi 3:2-3] so that right standing with God and holiness can unclog our pipes and the water of the spirit for the washing of the water by the Word of the Lord can flow unceasingly!

There is accumulation of Pentecost and the Charismatic grace with the young men seeing awesome vision and the old men dreaming dreams. The former and the latter rain flowing down together and vital prophetic words of the Lord being fulfilled right, left and center. Obviously light is taking over from darkness and the power of darkness is being greatly overthrown. Abundance of corn, NEW wine and oil of the Lord flows to attest to the fact that it is the season of the outpouring of the Holy Ghost [Joel 2:18-28].

“Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad [Ps. 126:2-3]

The Lord has turned around our captivity, oil of joy is flowing in the stead of mourning and exiles is being turned around for ecstasy, agonies give way to the pleasures of the Lord, banishment left for bliss, our abodes have become the Garden of the Lord and strange grace are being released to the remnant who now reigns as priests and kings unto our God. Dominion mandate and great access for fellowshipping with God, worship and grace to seek God on behalf of others have been released to the body of Christ.

“I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD” Psalms 40:1-3

Suddenly, God has brought us out of the valley of despondency where calamity, trials and temptations almost swallowed us up. But when it seem we have lost hope God SUDDENLY showed up and turn things around such that when men see the awesome release of spiritual impartation, grace gifts, prophetic unction, favor, grace, glory and blessings, they marvel at the ability of God to save, heal, deliver, bless and they come to serve and trust in our God whose right hand has done valiantly and bring us in to a wealthy place of which we are glad.

“I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. I will plant in the wilderness the cedar, the shittah tree, and the myrtle, and the oil tree; I will set in the desert the fir tree, and the pine, and the box tree together: That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the LORD hath done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it” Isa 41:18-20

Figuratively the river of the south flows from the throne of God, and of the Lamb; and of His river of pleasure he makes his people to drink, the streams whereof make glad the city of our God; likewise the fullness of grace in his Son, whose grace is as rivers of water in a dry land, exceeding abundant, and very refreshing; also the graces of his Spirit, which he gives in great abundance, and are those rivers of water he causes to flow forth from them that believe in Christ, in the comfortable exercise of them.

We…”shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures” [Psalms 36:8]. These are the blessings of conversion, redemption, and salvation; as well as divine exchange from curse to blessings, poverty to wealth and riches, sickness to divine healing, barrenness to fruitfulness, mourning to rejoicing and from shame and reproach to honor and great grace.

“They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goes forth and weep, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him” Psalms 126:5-6

We are not of them that draws back into perdition but of those who laboriously through faith and patience inherited the promises of God. Men had ridiculed us and say “where is your God” in these times of distress, pain and agony? Our waiting upon the Lord has been like excruciating pain and pounding on the grape until the juice and the chaff is separated but we stayed and trusted God and He eventually cause us to have a bountiful harvest.

Job, and Joseph, and David, and many others, had harvests of joy after a time of sorrowful seeding. Those that sow in the tears of godly sorrow shall reap in the joy of a sealed pardon and a settled peace. Those that sow to the spirit, in this gorge of tears, shall of the spirit reap life everlasting, and that will be a joyful harvest indeed. Blessed are those that mourn, for they shall be forever comforted. We shall reap the incorruptible if we faint not!

Also a faithful minister of God, sooner or later, is blessed with converts, who will be his joy and crown of rejoicing on the day of reckoning. Like Jesus they will be able to say “My meat is to do the will of Him that sent me and finish his work.  [John 4:35].
Suddenly your story has changed for good! You are no more in incarceration, prison or dungeon of the evil one but has come into liberty or freedom just like Peter was delivered from the prison of Herod by the Angel of God [Acts 12:9].

The Lord has SUDDENLY come into us [New Testament Saints as the Holy Ghost] with great pomp and glory to continue the works of God in and through us. Joseph woke up in the dungeon one day and went about his daily chores as usual not knowing that it was the day that his liberty will be effected. He ended up the Prime Minister of Egypt on that day, riding the second chariot of Pharaoh and living like a King. Suddenly your season of “just like a dream” has come.

Do remember that who the Son sets free is free indeed!
