ALL GOOD THINGS

ALL GOOD THINGS

ALL GOOD THINGS ARE YOURS TO ENJOY

“trust … in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy” 1 Tim. 6:17

We must certainly trust in the ability of God to freely give us all things to enjoy just like He made Abraham to be very rich; He made Isaac to amass wealth such that Abimelech the king of Gerar had to come and make a league with him, He made both the latter and the former end of Job to be filled with the good things of life to enjoy and King Solomon to be so rich in wisdom and rich in the good things of this life such that all his apparatuses were made of gold. God is not a respecter of persons, He wants all of the Saints to be without lack just like He made all things that Adam will ever need to be superabundant in the Garden of Eden before even creating Adam.

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” Romans 8:31-32

“My God will richly fill your every need in a glorious way through Christ Jesus” Phil. 4:19 GW

We see the Love of God manifested as He allowed His begotten Son to die in our stead so that we can be saved and acquire redemption from the throne room of Grace. We see here the Love of God resolving our sin problems, performing the exercise of liberty from captivity and bondage and revealing His eternal plan to cause us to enjoy all good things of life.

“Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God” Eccl. 5:19

When Jesus ascended to heaven, he gave gifts unto men [Eph. 4:8], [both spiritual gifts Eph. 4:11-13 and physical gifts including wealth and riches – Psalms 112:3], to enjoy freely and He empowers us to become like Him in holiness and righteousness hereby qualifying us to be partakers of heaven verities. We must stand in God and hold the beginning of our faith steadfast to the very end if we are to partake of the inheritance of the saints in Christ

“And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcome shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son” Rev 21:6-7

The qualification to acquire these things that are given to us freely is to thirst and yearn passionately until we receive freely the fountain of the water that quenches all thirst.

“And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely” Rev 22:17

The Spirit of Jehovah God is the divine water of life that imparts the life of God in us and reveals all that we need to know and apply in order to inherit all things [1 Cor. 2:9-12]. Remember all good and perfect gifts come from the Father of Lights in whom there is no variation nor shadow of turning [James 1:17].

“NOW faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear” Heb. 11:1-3

Faith is believing that God’s promises will be birthed NOW while hope is a futurist approach to the promises of God by earnestly expecting it to be manifested by and by. Jesus Christ has paid the price for our redemption, salvation, righteousness, deliverance and even sanctification. By going to the cross everything that is negative and contrary to our enjoying the blessings of God has been nailed to the cross and also the curses incurred because of the sin at the Garden of Eden done away with. Sin is the dote that attracts curses and right living and Christ likeness is the antidote to curses and it attracts the blessings of God that makes us rich and add no sorrow to it.

“In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the RICHES OF HIS GRACE; Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence. Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself” Eph. 1:7-9

“trust … in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy” 1 Tim. 6:17

We must trust in Jehovah Jireh who promised to bless us and who we know is not a man that lie or the son of man that repents or change his mind anyhow as long as we follow or walk after the path of the covenant of son-ship that qualifies us for the free gifts of God our divine provider. Please note that heaven and earth shall pass away but not one jot of His precious promises will go unfulfilled.

“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith work patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that GIVE TO ALL MEN LIBERALLY, and upbraids not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways” James 1:3-8

Jesus spoiled principalities and powers and we were delivered out of darkness into the kingdom of Light where our eyes have been opened to see by revelation knowledge and insight all the things that has been freely given to us to enjoy so that we can come into conformity with the mindset of God when we were made co-heir or joint heir with Christ Jesus of all the verities and the blessings that He received as Son of Jehovah God.

“The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together” Rom 8:16-17

That is why Jesus boldly declared that the glory the Father gave Him, He has given it to us, we have also become the joint-heir of all the possessions of the Father that was willed to Jesus as the only begotten son. Likewise we have also been given in HIM all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus [Eph. 1:3].

“For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father” Rom 8:15

The spirit of adoption work in us such that we have been drafted in as authentic children of the Most High God and made to enjoy every blessings that Jesus the Firstborn Son enjoys. We are actually partakers of God’s divine nature in Christ.

“Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power HATH GIVEN UNTO US ALL THINGS that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby ARE GIVEN UNTO US exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” 2 Peter 1:2-4

The knowledge of who the Father and the Son is will give us the understanding of who we are in God and we will be able to stand by Faith and receive all the precious promises of God and eventually get all the things that pertain to life and godliness freely. Important key here is the multiplication of grace and peace unto us. The Prince of Peace that we know and embrace allows us to receive peace also and let go of every agitation that causes fear, doubt, unbelief, anxiety and worry such that we will know and receive by FAITH all that has been given to us. Grace continues to stress the fact that these things are not paid for because Jesus Christ has paid the price for them and they are to be received freely, no price!

“Ho, every one that thirsts, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? And your LABOR for that which satisfies not? Hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness” Isa 55:1-2

The key word here is LABOR which is excessive exercise of the mental faculty and toiling in other to get that which Jesus Christ has paid the price for you; not at all… IT IS FREE! Not of works but of Grace! Grace excessively stresses the fact that it is freely bestowed to us by God, the only thing is we need to stress our hand in FAITH to receive. For example in going to Egypt, God made Pharaoh to give Abraham all that was needed to start his husbandry business and it was the breathe of God upon the business that cause expansion and blessings that follows to generation unborn.

Having money does not equate to being blessed. God promised to bless us not to give us money! The original intention of the Father is that we are blessed and He defined such BLESSING as being, fruitful in all our endeavors, multiplication in whatever we lay our hands up, subduing all powers that confronts us, reign over all the earth realm and to dominate over every created things upon the planet either spiritually or physically [Genesis 1:28[. The pronouncement upon patriarchs like Abraham, Isaac and Jacob was always the release of the covenant of blessings.

One of the greatest scriptures in the New Testament decreed that God has given us every spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Blessings can produce money which is an afterthought due to the sin factor of men but you can be blessed and acquire all the good things of life without money. Money is a product of the fall of man! You can have so much goods that like Israelites did with the Egyptians, you trade by batter with others who have so much of the other good things of life that you need.

The onus has always been “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall NOT want” [Psalms 23:1]
Many get ensnared in life because the god of mammon rule over their heart and Jehovah God has been displaced out of their heart. All we need is Jehovah and when we seek Him first all the good things of life for our enjoyment shall be added unto us.

We must not trust in man or uncertain riches else they become the idol in our hearts [Jer. 7:5-12 Message Bible]. Intimacy and determination to live righteously breeds favor with God but intimacy with God is impossible without knowing God [2 Peter 1:1-4], for all things that pertains to life and godliness is given unto us. Remember, only those who know their God shall be strong and do exploit! [Daniel 11:32]. God will do exceeding, abundantly, FAR ABOVE, what we ask for or even think, according to HIS power which is at work in us [Eph. 3:20].

“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God” 1 Cor. 2:12

When the word of God reiterated that “It is not by power nor might but by my Spirit”; it is to say that the Holy Spirit will release the Spirit of knowledge, wisdom, and understanding such that we will be able to KNOW what is freely given to us, do things with ease and also get goodly and godly result in whatever we lay our hands to do which the scriptures already declared that whatever we lay our hands to do shall prosper. The Spirit of God make us to know by revelation and insight those things that are freely given to us to enjoy or to do. He supplies all the divine grace necessary to excel and to do exploit.

Even in ministry [Luke 4:18], it was the release of the Holy Spirit upon Jesus Christ Himself that enabled Him with all that is needed and all that it takes to do the work of ministry that was committed into His hands. True enough, sin and curses came by one man Adam and we began to toil but abundance of Grace was introduced and given by one man called Jesus Christ [Romans 5:17].

"Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God" 1 Cor. 2:12

The first step in accessing the blessings of God is to know about its availability, until then faith cannot be activated TO RECEIVE. But continual looking into the perfect law of liberty release faith such that abundant grace of God can be released to us and we do become all that the Father purposed for us to become and acquire all that he has destined for us to acquire. God also gives dreams, visions, and angelic visitations or speak “dhabar” word into your heart such that you know what God is set to do for, in and through you. Faith exercised by you bring these into physical manifestation.

“It is true that through the sin of one man death began to rule because of that one man.
But how much greater is the result of what was done by the one man, Jesus Christ! All who receive God's abundant grace and are freely put right with him will rule in life through Christ” Rom 5:17 GNT

We are given the privilege to be equipped with EVERYTHING good in this Life! We were manifested on planet earth to rule and reign in the midst of our enemies!

“Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, EQUIP YOU WITH EVERYTHING GOOD that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen” Heb. 13:21 ESV

Grace is the free release from the throne room of Grace that enables us to have all that it takes to live good and godly life and ALL that GRACE abounds, flourishes, prospers and overflows in us if we dare to believe! You can always have all sufficiency in ALL THINGS needed on this side of eternity!

“And God is able to make ALL GRACE abound toward you; that ye, always having ALL SUFFICIENCY in all things, may abound to every good work” 2 Cor. 9:8 KJV

You and I are facilitated by God to receive all available grace meant for the saints and not be lacking in anything because all things on this earth has been prepared for us. We dominate over every living thing in the air, sea and land and it must be registered in our hearts that God is able to do exceeding, abundant, FAR ABOVE what we ask or think according to His power which is at work within you [Eph. 3:20].

“Besides, God will give you his constantly overflowing kindness. Then, when you always have everything you need, you can do more and more good things” 2 Cor. 9:8 GW

“Being enriched in everything to all bountifulness, which causes through us thanksgiving to God” 2 Cor. 9:11 KJV

I say again you have been wired by God to be enriched in everything until abundant supplies or bountifulness overflows in you! The Lord is your Shepherd, you must never lack; green, lustrous, and good pastures is at where God placed you now and the anointing of God over your life will cause your cup of blessings to overflow abundantly! Let your faith rise up in order to access the plenteous abundance that God freely supplies! All things are yours!

“…Everything belongs to you…the world, life or death, present or future things, everything belongs to you” 1 Cor. 3:21-22 God’s Word Bible

PRINCIPLE OF ASKING AND RECEIVING

"Ask, and you will receive. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened for you. Everyone who asks will receive. The one who searches will find, and for the one who knocks, the door will be opened. "If your child asks you for bread, would any of you give him a stone? Or if your child asks for a fish, would you give him a snake? Even though you're evil, you know how to give good gifts to your children. So how much more will your Father in heaven GIVE GOOD THINGS to those who ask him?” Mat 7:7-11 GW

The Father is a good God who gives us good things to enjoy! The expression. “Every one that ask receives” must be understood only with relation to good things and we know that all good and perfect gifts come from the Father of Lights, in whom  there is no variableness or shadow of turning [James 1:17]. It is important that we note that this promise is limited to such things as are good for us in the sight of God. For it is possible there may be gifts good in themselves and yet not proper for us in our particular circumstances or God sees that we are not ready for.

We ask God for a gift; we seek for what we have lost; we knock for entrance. Only a door stands between us and Christ! He will not give us stones or serpent… He has set a table of fat things in our front! Remember Mephiboseth, when king David sent for him from Lodebar, he must have thought that time to die has come! But that was the season of coming into royalty and coming to dwell in the palace of kings and eating at the dining table of the king forever [2 Sam. 9:10]. Suddenly I see the Lord God miraculously turning around all things that are contrary against you! Yes, your time to enter into REST has come… Come and partake of the goodness of God in the land of the living!

God will never fail to give good things and above all His Holy Spirit, the only thing is that we must ask for them. Remember IT IS A GIFT. You do not pay for it; it is freely given when you ask for it!

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work” 2 Cor. 9:8

The necessity of grace to enable us to do our duty and also to receive our need must be established here. There is the need for fitness of prayer towards the obtaining of grace because it is a treasure in the hands of God Himself and we must ask to receive. It is not like silver or gold, to be dug with hard labor out of the bowels of the earth. God is more than ready to grant these grace and gifts much more than we desire to have. The caution here is that we will only have what we desire or ask for that is according to His will. A young ten year old boy will not ask God for Cadillac Car and expect God to give him! But God gives when we ask according to His will.

“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him” 1 John 5:15

The frequency and intensity of prayers is very important as we see in “ask, seek, knock” It is not enough that we pray for a good thing once; but we must insist and renew our petitions often, for the words do each of them imply different degrees of petitioning God in asking, tenacity, importunity and diligence. The easiest way of obtaining a thing is to have it for asking.

Then the word “seek” implies a further degree of diligence, as when a thing is out of place or missing, and we cannot have it by calling for it, then we are at the pains to searching and looking for it until you can actually find them. But the word “knock” signifies a yet greater degree of patience and perseverance in our pursuit of what we ask for. For it supposes that there may be several difficulties or hurdles in the way, and that the passage may be shut up, yet that we should patiently wait, and drive on our pursuit aggressively with greater importunity until closed doors are opened unto us.

Asking, seeking, and knocking imply that we ought not to be discouraged, depressed or dispirited with the difficulties we meet while waiting, either in putting up our prayers to God, or in not receiving quickly a due answer to our prayers; but that we should endeavor to conquer and overcome all difficulties in our path, and be incessant in our prayers to God. Remember, we are more than conquerors through Him that loves us. We must endeavor to utmost devotion to worship, holiness and service unto our God while we wait patiently for His answer

“That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises. Heb. 6:12

“But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end” Heb. 3:6 [Also Heb. 6:10]

We must make sure that our confidence in the ability of God to do or give what we ask or hope is intact and unshaken, and in the same token be patient while waiting in FAITH for God to bring our request to pass

Our God is well able to do … Ephesians 3:20

We must believe in God’s being, ability, and goodwill. He is willing to do much more than what we ask or thing because His power which is at work in us, we are His children who He want to provide for us and there are precious promises through the scriptures, dreams, revelations and visions that “He that cannot fail to provide” has promised us.

Let it sink into your spirit-man that God for Christ’s sake will hear and grant their prayers. However there must be a willingness and endeavor to comply with all of God’s commandments [1 John 3:22; Prov. 28:9; Prov. 15:8]. Also when we do consciously commit sin, we must repent of it [Psalms 66:18; Isa. 1:15] else we block the blessings that is to flow to us. We must stand in our prayers with our hearts free from sin like un-forgiveness, bitterness, malice, and be full of love unto to all men [Matt. 5:23, Mark 11:25-26].

Lastly whatever we ask for must be used to the glory of God, and we must not ask for it in order to consume it on our lust [James 4:3]. Our prayers must be fervent and heartfelt, with patience and constancy, humility and submission, gratitude and thanksgiving for former mercies with vigilance in further praying and watching, and the diligent use of other lawful means appointed by God including seed faith, tithe and offerings.

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Amen” Eph. 3:20

MOUNTAINS CANNOT STOP YOU

Even when we are passing through the valley of the shadow of death as we go through intense persecution, trials and tribulations, we should know that the momentary and temporary hitch will soon fade away and we shall see the goodness of God in the land of the living. No matter what we are going through, we must exercise strong faith in God who promised and will give liberally to all men. He has never fail, can never fail and will never fail in bring His promises to pass. The righteous shall not be forsaken by God nor will their descendant come into stupendous poverty and become beggars. Never!

“Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them” Mark 11:22-24

We must having an assuring faith in God’s ability, and firm heart that remain unbend-able and unshakable having come into a resounding knowledge of what God promised to do. Mountains may stand in the way of fulfilling these precious promises of God but we are not of them that turn into perdition but of them that stand believing until there is a physical manifestation of what God promised. Sea shall bellow, winds shall blow and mountain shall shake, we will stand tall and be still! Knowing that our God is on our side! When He counter surge against the kingdom of darkness, mountains shall skip like a ram and powers of darkness shall tremble at His feet.
The figurative mountains hindering progress and the manifestation of good from the Presence of God is what our faith desires to remove. These are significant obstacles in the path of mercy, goodness and divine favor.

The spirit of fear, doubt, unbelief, anxiety and worry operates under the spirit of weakness that cripples our faith if we let him! It will even cripple our will, produce unrest and discontent; it only look at the down side of life and never focus on the plenteous good that God has done in our lives and pessimistic against the promises of God. But we are not of them that turns back to perdition! We choose to stand on the Lord’s side and believe that we have received the spirit of power, love and a sound mind and that strong faith arises in our heart to put down and destroy every reasoning, imaginations and thoughts negative and contrary to the will of Jehovah God for our lives. The WORD of God is true! It shall come to pass. He will do what He said!

No spiritual mountain or obstacle should be able to stand strong before a confident faith in God. We must exercise GOD KIND OF FAITH, having control, dominion or authority over every living creatures on earth and putting to flight every wicked demonic entities and their wicked works knowing that God has given us authority over the powers of the enemies and nothing shall cause us to stumble!
